Food of Chuseok, Songpyeon

    Hello. Next day, we greet our one of the biggest holiday, Chuseok! For celebrate Chuseok, I will introduce about one of our tarditional food we eat Chuseok. There are some foods we eat in Chuseok. Taro soup, Sinseollo and Songpyeon. So today, I'll talk about Songpyeon.
 Songpyeon is a kind of rice cake. Our forefathers started making Songpyeon for celebrate harvest and wish to be rich next farming. They made rice cake looks like moon with newly harvested rice, sesame, chestnuts and been.
 To make Songpyeon, we need fresh harvested rice, other crops, salt, sesame oil and leaf of Pine tree. First, grind rice. Second, mix them with water and salt to make dough. Next, boil other crops to make filling in Songpyeon. After boil them hard, mash them to prepare the filling with sesame, chestnuts, been. And make space circlewise and put, and cause the fillings removing each knead graually. Next, spread the cloth on steamer and  put Songpyeon on the cloth with leaf of Pine tree. Then, steam them 40 minutes. Finally, cover Songpyeon with Sesame oil. This is how to make Songpyeon! Isn't it inviting? Then, make it tomorrow with your family! And be happy Chuseok!
